    General Fight Club

I still like Prophetic Bolt better. It can hit players for one, and it digs for key pieces of a deck. And the damage isn't contingent on having a non-land to discard. Yeah, Bolt wins for me.

    General [GRN] Guilds of Ravnica

The only bad thing in the design of Vine Mare is both lines of text. A hexproof 5/3 wouldn't be very problematic (good, but not very problematic). A "can't be blocked by black creatures" 5/3 wouldn't be that problematic. And "Hexproof from black" wouldn't be problematic either. The key is...

assuming you have the seven mana: careful study tormenting voice fiery confluence OHKO! It will be a lot more effective in a slow UR deck. One that actively wants to make it to T6+. A Rise from the Tides style deck

I like Mission Briefing a lot. One (two) upsides: spellseeker mystical tutor Which isn't irrelevant for multiple color combinations that can't otherwise interact with Snappy (UW, UB for instance)

Yeah basically same story as shamizy. Really wanted it to work, but didn't pan out.

The Penny Pincher Cube 2.0--Inventors' Fair

Even in my higher powered cube, I had people take cycling lands from the draft and maindeck them. Now I just give them out for free :P In an bounceland format you have the added benefit of being able to bounce them from the table and then cycle them, getting both halves of the functionality.

    General 15 cards, 3x, out of 360

Cubemajigs are neat, but 30 bucks for 24 packs? I can get 40 snack sized ziplocs for less than $3.........

    General 15 cards, 3x, out of 360

there has been on and off discussion on this over the years here. Somewhere, someone did an analysis of the "optimum" number of cards/packs depending on how many people are drafting. By and large I'd say that 15x3 is an artifact (not even properly carried over to cube because retail packs have...

    Sigh, a Cube

Edit: one day the images will magically appear. I have yes. Another contender for that slot! Ok, so GRN. Wowzers, a worthy successor of the name Ravnica. Very very solid set with a lot of interesting cards. I particularly enjoy that it's a graveyard format that doesn't try and make everything...

He can sac himself like fleshbag. My only gripe is that he isn't a zombie :(. I really need that for Gisa and Geralf loops

Risk Factor looks like it's over the line to 'good punisher card', that line where it's a very difficult choice for the opponent. Neat!

    General Gruul Aggro-Madness

Crucial (IMO) one drop because it both fills the bottom of the curve, but also benefits from other madness stuff going on. flameblade adept

    General [GRN] Guilds of Ravnica

yeah just a little too pushed, IMO. The sort where the body starts to invalidate what synergies might arise from the repeatable surveilling. Per shamizy's, if it had a 5/4 non-trampling body, I'd be all over it. That 4 toughness critically brings it into range of (more) red burn, and a deck can...

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

You could cut reclamation, I suppose, but do you really need Polukranos? Seems just to be there as raw power. Oracle seems more fun, if anything.

Sprouting Renewal 2G - sorcery Convoke Chose one: - create a 2/2 with vigilance - destroy target artifact/enchantment This is another really, really solid disenchant effect printed this set. Convoke really ties the thing together :)

Second round of Dominaria potentials, once I actually look at the cards lol. Tossing in that sweet, sweet #confusion to the matter:) Crow Storm -> the antiquities war The War might actually be the artifacts payoff/cog I was looking for? Sai is great, but this seems every greater. This is of...

    Sigh, a Cube

Commander 2018 actually had more of interest than I would have thought. I really do appreciate the Cxx decks for enabling more interesting cards and designs to come out compared normal sets, even if the decks and some cards end of pretty wonky. nissa, steward of elements -> arixmethes...

    Sigh, a Cube

M19 had fewer interesting cards than I thought... There are several cards that are close to interesting, but are kinda crowded out by other stuff (even from the same set!). resurrection -> Ajani, adversary of tyrants Not a swap from the list above, but Resurrection is pretty bland, and Ajani is...

    Sigh, a Cube

From Battlebond, besides the Oddsmaker above, is easier than I thought. eternal of harsh truths -> spellseeker Spellseeker is a great boon to Ux decks, offering both a great toolbox and consistency for important spells like devil's play. Eternal isn't even on the same ball field, tbh.

Some potential switches from Dominaria Olivia, mobilized for war -> azra oddsmaker One wall of text for another, but I like the Oddsmaker a lot, and I think the effect is a little better overall, while still maintaining the discard outlet. thought-knot seer -> scrap trawler Basically a free...
