    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

ancient stirring See this in Alfonzos cube, and it seems like a cute mash up of lay of the land and artifact synergies. Tempted to try it out myself. Digging five is quite good, and always having that fallback of getting a land (any land!) makes it passable in quite a few formats imo.

Bonzo cube (360, unpowered, 2-4 player)

Does seem like a lot of black fives, but I'm not entirely sure which of them I'd look at removing first. Plaguelord maybe? You have two "sacrifice stuff" five drops, so either that, or I guess Fallen Angel, though I like the angel. Looking at your wraths, they are very light. One that looks...

Merfolk Shapeshifter? Nitpicking aside, I really like it :)

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Yeah, Wizards can, but it does not mean they should. Regardless, you can do whatever you'd like, just note that it does have memory issues. That aside, I like the concept, but who gets the power up being pre-determined by cube shuffling doesn't sound appealing. Maybe something like "if there...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Both of those have memory issues too. So does something like Coldsteel heart The draft-counting cards like Garbage Fire literally tell you to make a note of it because of memory issues, and those are more similar to your design than the two above. Yours just counts the 15th only.

    General Battlebond 2018

I'm reserved but hopeful at the part where he talked about having cube in mind. I'm very interested to see what they do with the "sports" flavor. I guess this means there will be much less direct flavor surrounding war, death, espionage, etc? They did specifically say the primary combat was...

    General On clones

It is pretty good at that, but if you aren't copying something like Nykthos or Coffers, it does feel a little less impressive. I guess copying lands and enchantments is a pretty unique aspect of Mirror. Also one of those unfortunate situations where it is simply supplanted by phyrexian...

    General On clones

Mirage Mirror is a really cool card. Only experienced it in EDH, but all around a very flexible cloning effect. The fact that in a pinch it can be unknown shores is really neat. I think it's a little better in multiplayer where you are under less time pressure and have a wider array of potential...

I rum body double Vizier of many faces Common graveyard theme for mine. I really enjoy giving blue that reanimator angle. Neat thing about clones is that they are great synergies with "power matters" imperial recruiter Recruiter of the guard Reveillark

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Considering how similar it is to my burn suite, I'm pretty happy with yours as is :P I think Incinerate and Lightning Helix would be good adds. I've never been much of a fan of Boros Charm, Helix still pushes direct face-damage, and has much more progressive utility besides that imo. I also...

    Sigh, a Cube

I like both Yosei and Angel, but they serve more midrange top-end or reanimator roles imo. I've enjoyed having both Angels as my white high drops, but would likely keep Linvala over Angel at this point if I were to cut one. I think Deliverance is a pretty nice include in your format if you are...

    Sigh, a Cube

Deliverance is a card I highly recommend for many/most formats, especially ones with artifact themes. The cheap cantripping is very valuable on the useful sort of safety valve cards like shatters (see also abrade). Watcher I'm pleased with so far. A bear with a very decent and needed type of...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Inscho could! I don't think I have any draw triggers left, so it just seems like it's not super "breakable". I think the coolest it gets is to like jam down baubles and stuff in the first couple turns, chrome mox, Mishra's bauble, lightning axe, etc. and then refill before the other player can...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Let's ignore the fact that this card is way more expensive than I'd ever be willing to drop for: Timetwister Yeah yeah it's "Power", but like... it's not really actually going to break much right? There already is Memory, but this seems like a very evocative and historic blue effect. I feel like...

I really like that third one. Building in a catch-up mechanic seems like a great use of the draft/playing space.

Four Man Draft - 12/28/17 This is not actually the draft that I 'promised' I would elaborate on above, this is another draft! That's the shortest time between them, I think... woo! Also one of the most solid feeling ever, with very, very few cards feeling out of place in much of any way. We...

Man Krark-Clan Ironworks is an evocative build-around. Thinking of including Fabricate or Whir of Invention to provide some deck-specific tutoring support?

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Unfulfilled Desires is a card I've looked at several times before. I think if I didn't have Ancient Excavation, I might be on board with trying it. It's pretty good in formats with that 3 mana Transmute Wall to help find it more consistently.
