Woah indeed. Seems to not have enough power to make the drawback worth it? If it was a 5/9 or something? Just feels a little meh to open up the opponent to blowing you out. This feels pretty neat. It's a slightly worse Arc trail on normal mode, but a stronger Rolling Thunder on madness mode...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

That is a fantastic point. These might be a good consideration for anyone explicitly trying to push 2 color decks because they play better when you have ~14-16 on-color basics in your deck, and play a lot worse when that number starts tanking, as RBM said. They seem like one of the rare sets...

You rang? Very solid if you support go-wide indeed! White 2 drops are fairly contested in my cube, but I could see making some sort of swap for her if I find that tokens become a hot commodity. You do actually have to deal exactly 7 if you want to win asap (people lose the game then the life...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I'd also guess that they function about as well as the fastlands, but with a lot more variance. They can be better because you could have a land to reveal later than your third land drop. Gonna hafta agree with Tzenmoroth on this one anbd pass them up. I do wish they had finished out the tango...

Sin Prodder is in for sure in my cube, with poor little reckless bushwhacker taking the hit. It does everything that aggro wants to be doing imo. Clear out lands. Opponent will def have you dump them, but aggro is ok with that. One less land to draw. dump things and burn the opponent. This is...

Sin Prodder is pure gas. Unique Red card advantage with a punishing twist. Will cube. A+

    Eric Chan's Modern cube (405)

For four people I've really fallen in love with tenchester drafting. I have a 405, and I just make 10 packs of 10 per drafter. Drafting expectations have to change because you only get one pick a pack, but it works out really well imo. This arose partially from the exact issues of 'riptide'...

Dominate is an instant, which is pretty relevant. As long as you can madness it, Welcome to the Fold is a nice upgrade. Super small GY cube sounds like a perfect fit :)

I'm not seeing it, tbh. Does it look like her head is too small? arm too long? Wearing heavy plate + all those robes she's got on is bound to make anyone look a little funny. Also loving the hand painting of this piece. The slightly grittier look is just a grand slam in my book.

I think a pretty easy replacement for Pain Seer in my cube. The madness just pushes it that little bit extra, but can give you some crazy lines, like: rotting ratssmallpoxstronghold rats which all help you with you (and your opponents) hellbent too. and it synergizes to the max with effects...

Is this the Blood Scrivener we've always wanted? Now twice (or more) as likely to trigger, a more aggressive body, and madness is a neato little rider?

Yikes. Talk about draw-to-win. Why use his ultimate ever when you can just draw an extra card and win that way? And then use his -x to protect himself when needed. Honestly don't know if 6 is enough of a cost to make this less of an auto-encapsulated wincon....

I am blaming wizards. They have a weird obsession with poster-boy Blue, and even if they print a Tamiyo, she can never have the Moonfolk's signature ultimate, and that's sad :(. Overall, I have been very happy with the planeswalkers we are seeing, it just seems like such a missed opportunity...

Because it could have been a Tamiyo, especially with the flavor of the ult. And there's like a million jaces already.

Thinking about RBM's post, it really is a disservice to {U} planeswalkers to just have this particular iteration be another Jace. Beyond how generic the first two abilities are, look the the ult. Remind you of something? Maybe this?: erayo, soratami ascendant like COME ON! Erayo, the only...

My reaction, and I quote: "ohh. OHHHH" Has the unfortunate problem of having one of those ults that just stops one person from playing the game tho.... But my standard control deck is weeping tears of joy :)

Yeah, I'm liking it. Probably will see standard play, and would be solid in a lot of cubes around here. Steam Augury is def worse then FoF, but that's not a bad thing, and when you can X=7 the value will be there. Also X=1 is a cute little spell

I really wish it was easier to know how often there are 4 or more card types in your GY! I have basically no data on that from any of my past cube matches on something like that cuz who knew it might matter? To the Slaughter really gets better with it, cuz it's not often going to be causing PW's...

A little yelling is always fun, but I do like reasons with the best of them. Put all like that I've decided that he's too cool, so I'll keep him in and try Nahiri in place of something else. Arlinn Kord is super duper neato. Pretty hard to tell if too good personally. Seems bonkers in a...
