I wanted to chip in to confirm Fevered Visions is way better than RavebornMuse seems to think. Visions is very legit in my experience.

Vital Force was extremely uninteresting to me when I had it in my cube. The -3 sometimes comes up, but the +1 just kills your opponent with expendable resources. The ultimate is weaksauce compared to the other two abilities. I wanted to like it, but I really don't care for the design execution...

How are people going to deal with a 10/10 on turn 3? That's the definition of removal check (even if it doesn't have trample). Gift normally has less immediate impact, but the value can ramp up quickly in the late game or if you run some draw & discard effects like Faithless Looting and friends...
