Ignore Tzen on Splatter Thug and Shadowmage Infiltrator, those are fine! :P I think your fetch : fetchables ratio is off. I have picked up an early fetch multiple times, only to fail at finding the corresponding dual. Maybe replace the Flood Plains cycle with another fetchable cycle?

I've also reached ultimate in Tamiyo and Venser, and been on the receiving end of Koth and old Kiora. Oh! And I actually ultimated Karn once! As obnoxious as Karn is, that was pretty sweet :) I'ld say it happens often enough!

I just ultimated Ob Nixilis this very weekend! And it won me the game :) I think Nahiri is a swell planeswalker. Powerful without being insurmountable, fun in a multitude of decks. If there are some white reanimation spells in your cube, she is pretty cool in that archetype!

Rainbow is a thing, right? Caryatid can add mana of any color, so I think I'ld pick that one.

This is a much harder pick! The Archangel can win on her own (being a 5/5 flyer), and can burst out something way ahead of the curve, but Nexus just oozes value turn after turn. I really like both if five color is sufficiently supported.

That is sad news indeed, magiccards.info is by far the best card database there is, utterly superior to gatherer. Edit: I just found this: https://magidex.com/. Haven't explored it yet, it's super new on the scene, but it says it's an enhanced magiccards.info clone.
