Also, your opponent can process it with his Eldrazi after you exiled it. Hidden synergies! :D

General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

After my halfhearted attempt to defend Diregraf Captain yesterday I've come to the realization that it really isn't as playable outside of a zombie theme as I'm pretending. The zombie subtheme is fun though, and these two have been more than decent, even without a dedicated zombie plan...

Remember the Pyromancer Ascension deck that could play infinite turns copying Time Warp and Call to Mind? My guess is they want to prevent shit like that for the time being. ... Which is a shame really, because Pyromancer Ascension was one of the funniest decks I played at tournaments ever :)

    General Fight Club

What Chris said. Cube is a lot faster than Khans limited as well, you want to run out your answers before you are dead.

That is actually a pretty interesting Time Walk variant. Edit: After reading the MTGS, clearly I have to revise my opinion of this card. It's such a lazy design1!!!one[1!! Just tack on 1 mana to every iconic effect and season it with the keyword-du-jour, won't you? Sheesh. If this is supposed...

4 life bitches! :P But seriously, I'll keep an eye on it.

    Sets Battle for Zendikar Spoilers

Because I run a dedicated zombie theme, and this is one of the three lords in my cube. I like how the zombie lords I run are all decent on their own (well, Diregraf Captain is kinda iffy, but it's still a deathtouch body). It's really not as destructive as you make it out to be in my...

Except it doesn't make infinite deathtouch tokens. It makes one, and then poses the question to your opponent: "Are you going to run your team into this board state and lose a guy each turn, or are you going to deal with the Ophiomancer first?" The card is also plays really well (comparable to...

One Pack One Pick (p1p1 thread)

For me it's between Thran Dynamo and Sublime Archangel. I think I'ld go with the Archangel. It's just such a beating!

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

They weren't really bitching, but it's a nice mood-setter for the question, right? :D I dig the answers. I always play mono-player matches, so that helps with Curse feeling less unfun I suppose. I cut Grave Titan and Opposition from my cube for power/interaction reasons, but I run the other...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

People are bitching about how Curse of Predation is too good over in the Return to Zendikar thread, but I have always liked the card. Am I turning a blind eye to how oppressively powerful it can be? Please rank the cards below from strong to ehm... less strong, so I can judge how good this card...

Drana is a card I can get behind. Curse of Predation is one of the best anthem effects available, and this is not much (if any) behind, since it will put the counters on attacking creatures before they (or the ones without first strike anyway) get to deal damage. There's much to like here.

General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

I think restarting the game is undesirable in general, because it needlessly drags out games (unless you start the game with a bunch of permanents like with Karn). Is there a particular reason you want this effect in your cube?

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

This technically doesn't count as a 3-0 deck because #1 it didn't 3-0 an actual draft and #2 it's from a mock draft on Forge with my cube, but holy cow is it a blast to play! Besides, pending a real draft because I'm still at home with my newborn daughter, I still want to show what my cube is...

    Card/Deck Scapeshift in Cube

Scapeshift makes some of the retreats look really good (the red one gives +8/+0 at the very least, for example). I don't know that such a play is really conducive to an interesting match though.

Ooooo! Another solid hit for the utility land draft!

    Sets Battle for Zendikar Spoilers

I'm the guy who runs custom duals because I want my mana base to (slightly) favor aggressive decks because going X-color good stuff is already easy enough as is in cube (especially my cube). So yeah, I'm not going to add karoos. But thic cycle still makes me want to :)

    Card/Deck The Simic Combine

When I still supported UG, I had a custom spell-land (think Gavony Township) that proliferated for {1}{g}{u}, {t}. It totally won a draft!

This cycle makes me want to introduce karoos to my cube, because you can ensure landfall with them each turn.

I think I'm okay with retiring Riptide Laboratory or Academy Ruins. Both, especially the latter, tend to lead to repetitive lines of play, which I'm not not keen on (despite my fond love of Crystal Shard).
