The blue one will be perfect to stall a big creature for a turn while you get ready to play your haymakers!

    Sets Battle for Zendikar Spoilers

Banishing Light at {2}{W}{W} isn't really efficient, but this is a nice mana sink in the late game and downright scale-tipping scary once you reach 8+ mana!

    Sets Battle for Zendikar Spoilers

In my mind getting a vanilla body at a fixed mana point is bad, no one would play Grizzly Bears, but getting a vanilla body at any mana point is great, because it allows you to be flexible. I also don't think Endless One should be evaluated as if it was a carbon copy of Chimeric Mass, because in...

    Sets Battle for Zendikar Spoilers

Ah, there's our "problem"! You are looking at this card in a fundamentally different way then ahadabans and me (and others I guess), because this isn't a big mana threat! It's a scalable threat! I would never compare Endless One with Ulamog's Crusher, because it doesn't cost 8 mana. It costs...

    Sets Battle for Zendikar Spoilers

I think this attitude leads to a bad cube. Cards that read bad have been way better in practice before (Tarmogoyf being the most famous example, but as recently as Origins, few were giving Hangarback Walker much credit). I like that this card is a cheap blocker if you need one, but a big...

Hahaha, 18 likes! I think you set a record :D

That is actually a pretty great land for the ULD if there are enough playable allies floating around in this and the next set (and original Zendikar of course).

One Pack One Pick (p1p1 thread)

Ah, that's right, you run bouncelands. Yeah, I once threatened to drop a t3 Rishadan Cutpurse with my pirate tribal deck after my opp played a t2 Azorius Chancery. I showed him the Cutpurse with an evil smile, then proceded to play a normal game of Magic. I was a bit bummed that he went after me...

Petravark... Does a 2/2 for four really cut it? Are lands that dangerous in your cube?

    Rasmus Riptide Cube (360 Unpowered)

Overseer of the Damned is awesome! Necromancy is so awesome that you won't regret running 2 of them, promise!

    Angel of Serenity?

One Pack One Pick (p1p1 thread)

Spikeshot Elder, wheel Piston Sledge. The blanket card in this booster pack is Temple of Plenty, and a very reasonable pick. Both Wingsteed Rider and Auriok Salvagers merit consideration as well, assuming their respective themes are well supported in the cube.

Aether Snap But it's probably something you'll need to design.

We design wacky Constructed formats, people post decklists

I like this idea in concept, but man is this a time sink! Sorry Turrilazzo, but I'm going to have to choose to spend my time on other things :)

    General Fight Club

I cut back on blink effect hard (there's Flickerwisp and a custom 2/2 haste without evasion that blinks on attacking, and that's it I think), and I really don't mind the "loss". Makes for less repetetive sequences to be honest. Blink certainly wasn't healthy for AVR limited, so we have at least...

    Sets Battle for Zendikar Spoilers

My god, I only just saw the rarity symbol on Fathom Feeder. How is a bad Azure Mage worthy of a rare slot? I mean, it has deathtouch, but the downgrade to 1/1 and making the activation cost a man more expensive, and oh, making it two colors is more than enough to compensate that ability, right...

I agree, though I'm always up for some Young Pyromancer tricks.

    Card/Deck Graveyard hate

I would classify Woe-Reaper as a harvester as well. A classic Savannah Lions that edges the race a tiny bit in your favor with its etb ability.
