I have hit a milestone today! For the first time ever there's more duals than gold cards in my cube! :)

Oh, not too many, but I don't think I'ld want to run this in cube anyway. There are a lot of annoying creatures in commander that I could axe with this though had it been targeted removal ;)

Garruk Wildspeaker is excellent in aggro. T4 you get to drop a small threat with the +1 and then Overrun the next turn.

"Choose two target creatures controlled by the same player. Exile one of those creatures and put two +1/+1 counters on the other." I hate to be right, because the card would be awesome if it got around hexproof, but the word target is right there in its Oracle text.

Thrun can't be targeted though ;) Now, exiling your Elvish Mystic and putting two counters on Thrun sounds a lot better! :)

Funny. Did anyone notice the typesetting on the artist credits? That's weird...

I played against Griselbrand once in cube, and it was pretty fun actuallty. That might be because of the Phyrexian Metamorph in my hand and the new legendary rule though. Batterskull doesn't strike me as an interesting card.

Elspeth is weak to flyers though, unlike your favorite hornet :)

You have my full support in this move! The only one I find mildly interesting is Stunted Growth, but that effect is so decidedly ungreen that I never dared put it in my cube. I guess Ankh of Mishra is good in aggro as well, but I've heard it's about as fun as Sulfuric Vortex.

Yeah, I went immediately looking for that one too, but it's just a bit too expensive for my tastes. I guess that effect is definitely printable at two mana by today's standards though, so who knows?

Yes, it deals 1 damage to defending player whenever its controller attacks with a creature with power 2 or less. :p It's also a Hellrider with two upsides: it's cheaper to cast and harder to remove! Seriously though, I think there are better enchantment to reward attacking with small dudes...

If you decide to add it, I would also consider adding Valakut to the utility land pile.

Ah yeah, I forgot about landfall, which I curiously don't run in my cube. Less poisonous than I thought in that case :) It's certainly a card that can put more lands onto the battlefield in one turn than any other single card can on turn (save maybe Fastbond, but how realistically can you put...

If you support Life from the Loam (a card which I squadroned) it could have some uses maybe, and it thins out your deck? Still seems pretty poisonous though...

Yes it is, but essentially you're just casting it on your normal turn, had you been on the play. I.e., when you power out Gideon on t4, you make your 5-drop before your opponent can make his 5-drop, exactly as if you had been on the play. The turn after that you still have to make do with 5 mana...

It might be weird, but what if we abolished the rule that the starting player skips his or her first draw step? What if instead the non-starting player gets a gold token and gets to scry 2 after keeping an opener? What is so bad about Wrath on turn 3 anyway? That means you're playing a 2 for 1...

If it made Shivan Dragons instead of Furnace Whelps it would totally be playable.
