I've realized that for whatever reason I don't really like planeswalkers (or at least generic planeswalkers) but I do like cards that act like planeswalkers e.g. Primeval Bounty, Obelisk of Alara, Trading Post. Can anyone think of more examples of these?

meh, I like Wildspeaker and Relentless both more, and I would probably take Survival, Fastbond, Sylvan Library, Treespeaker, Loam, Thragtusk, Natural Order and a few more cards over it. Greater Good is a really nice one. I like Stormbind particularly if you have a reasonably well supported GY...

The B/W Avatars deck would be a lot better if he cut half of the Avatars.

I don't bother classifying and just play cards if I want to.

Not saying it shouldn't, just that it's hard to have a high enough density of it to make Twin a risky proposition unless you flood your Cube with cheap removal to the extent that there's too much.

Twin is interesting in Constructed because every deck has access to a lot of cheap removal, which means that timing and knowing how to play around various cards is important. In Cube that isn't really the case, so I could see it being too oppressive. The go-to card with Dark Depths nowadays is...

Well, when everything goes well you're favoured, but if you stumble at all or they have enough disruption it's very easy for them to shut you out. It always feels terrible to Path a DRS/Bob, but if you don't it can quickly take the game over. Liliana just wrecks you, even if you have Gifts...

I played UW Tron in both of the past two Modern PTQ seasons so I'll add my $.02. Drawing Rites and/or Rites targets wasn't a problem too often - Elesh Norn was hardcastable a lot of the time, and you had TfK to sift through cards and get them in the GY. idk how viable the Gifts plan is now that...
