I run Ravos, Soultender, and it's a great card, despite the annoying partner. I think we shouldn't let ourself get distracted by the extraneous text, if the card fits, it fits. I have never met a drafter who had any problems with ignoring the partner part.

Yeah, I like Safra's suggestion. It also shows how relative these rankings are, because Forsake the Worldly isn't a 0.5 in my environment. I think it's closer to a 1.5, maybe even a 2.0. By the way, he regularly updates his examples. Here's the list from his recent Ravnica Allegiance Rakdos...

Well, the mana is supposed to be terrible, since you're drafting a wildly unsupported shard :) Only Orzhov is a supported guild, so there's no Boros or Rakdos lands at all ;) Still a cool deck!

I really don't know. Despite coming up with the wording of scroll and the MSE template, I've never had a scroll custom in my own cube :) I still love the idea of scrolls, and sincerely hope WotC discovers the idea themselves :D

All my mana rocks start at three mana, and even I don't play any of these. Maybe that's wrong? The lockets are nice for early ramp and late card advantage, but I already have two Hedron Archives in my cube. I like having different effects on my mana rocks anyway.

I like this, Bloodline Mentor is a great tweak of Monastery Mentor! The only thing I do not like is that Gilt-Leaf Scarblade own power and toughness are not equal, but that's the same knock I had on Gilt-Leaf Winnower. It just doesn't feel right :)

For the record, I absolutely hate hexproof, but I happily run both Shalai and the two "hexproof from" knights.

I think Shalai simply has a bit more play to her. As a four drop it's easier to make room for, and the activated ability is a perfect late game ability for the typical {g}{w} weenie deck. In a pinch, a 3/4 flyer for four that hexproofs the rest of your team isn't the worst in any wX deck either...
