Night Scythe was one I ran for a while, but does feel pretty medium to me. Your milage may vary, or maybe medium is what you want.
Also a great candidate for universes within.
Esika's Chariot is one of my favorite magic cards bar none.
Little better Dreadbore! I'm always in for a bit more flexibility on removal spells, and tagging the odd Hardened Scales or Rancor or Witch's Oven or whatever is a nice out.
This with fetchlands is active a lot, but we'll see how hard actually finding a second target is. It's not like you can...
Descended does call out permanent cards, so you can't sac your treasure to get a new treasure at eot.
Sick card though!
Four artifacts is probably a lot (think metalcraft) but this is a sick land
So barring map concerns (Ugh nested reminder text, ALL of which is missing here) this is interesting! Collenade was amazing back when magic was slower, but this is an engine. Possibly a slower card overall? Which is wild to me
I'm interested and I DON'T run madness, so I think this card might be dangerous :P
That being said, if you want to make something powerful, the non-wild mongrel madness colors are probably a nice place.
Most of what it takes to get someone to start playing magic is to just get cards in their hands.
If you were a fan of Dr who, and you had a decent time with that one commander game you played with the 4 decks, yeah maybe. You might start playing
Oh shit or dies. Yeah ok I see it!
It pains me we have a new kind of 1/1 flier (bat) AND a new kind of 1/1 artifact creature (Gnome) in this set. Ima be doing a lot of customs
I would totally try it. A lot of the issue people have with beanstalk is specifically it triggering off zero mana spells, it certainly wasn't balanced that way
Oh hey new brain maggot! I always felt the biggest flaw of these cards is how irrelevant the body is so quickly, but flying helps that a lot.
Hitting anything I think is a nice sidegrade over freebooter
