Kinda funny they were printed in the same set. I wonder how often Soul is getting activated in practice. 5-mana is okay if used proactively (on your combat step) but feels like a ton to keep open if you're not already ahead on board.

The main difference is in rules text. I don't assume a set has a Goblin subtheme just because I see a creature with subtype Goblin. I assume it when I see Goblin Grenade or a card that says "Goblin creatures you control get +1/+1".
