I find the assortment of removal spells in Standard right now to be really interesting. The way Wizards has planned the metagame around Pillar of Flame is super neat.

Hmm... that activation cost is super inefficient. Bombardment goes in tap-out decks that sac things at instant speed in response to removal or to finish off the game. Charging may well make it unplayable.

It's too good for the power level of the utility draft. I had a problem with everybody snap-first picking fixing in the utility land draft, which really wasn't what I was going for. I have to say, despite being the one running the major Zombie theme, I haven't been all that impressed with Lotleth Troll. He sounds great in principle, but he's just kind of... a turd out there.

Does anybody here run this card? I'm always looking for fun sacrifice and graveyard effects, and Varolz has been making some small waves in constructed. Do you all think he's good enough for 360?
