Yeah, Pod decks are midrange, and, a boost to midrange certainly couldn't hurt in my cube.

Seeing Standard decks with no one-drops makes me feel violated in a weird way.

Voice of Resurgence Coolest Pod 2-drop there is. I don't know if that's relevant for most people though.

5-drops are allowed to be good in my book. And it's not like anybody is playing monocolor decks anyways. I think it's a far cry from something like Mirran Crusader, a 3-drop with protection from two colors. Flameblast Dragon looks like hot garbage. Except when it's not.

Because Gargadon is awful and nobody actually plays it in their decks. It's really cool in theory but then you actually go to make your final 40 and it never seems appealing.
