    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

I meant that it doesn't fit alongside Gravecrawler, Bloodsoaked Champion, Gutterbones, etc, etc as a creature you can just run into blockers and still get value from later. I did word that particularly poorly tho :P Its weaker than them sure, but has another set of avenues for additional value...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Vouching for Sarcomancy, card is great. Bargain fodder, incidental bounce/flicker target. Sure it doesn't synergise with black recursion but there are other cards in the slot that do that.

If I built this cube IRL this is what I'd do (Everyone randomly gets a crap enchantment/artifact [Or chooses from a small pack of like 3] that's their emblem, then draft the cube), but for the purposes of a cube design challenge I think having a set emblem or a small (very small) pool from...

I'd argue its pretty easy to do so when depicting Mordor, name a fictional place that better embodies black red :P

We also already have a scry token (Shards), another reason I like the Sac: Explore token Strionic suggested. I don't mind the 1-of with Kellan, though I agree it would be great to see a mechanic rock back up after a set or two before it rotates

As much as I like this idea, surely you sac them or otherwise that gets silly fast.

    Article Slot efficiency

As much as I agree with all of your points, I do think there's value in having a few narrow cards both to help signpost archetypes as well as allow for decision making in drafts - is it worth risking an attempt wheel that one card you really need to make your deck work that no one else is likely...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Overclock {U} Sorcery For each counter on target permanent, remove that counter or put another of those of those counters on that permanent. Buyback if you want I guess, but this version kills their walkers and instantly ults your own so that might be a little frustrating? It's just Gilder...

Its not like it's an official format or anything; do what feels right/fun. FWIW, I agree with you on Companion.

To add to the Dragon discussion (Though not really incredibly tribal) Goddric, Cloaked Reveler I play him with Gravecrawler and other recursive Zombies (Like Bladewing's Thrall *wink*) and they are the best of friends. No seriously the card's actually okay.

Played WOE limited at FNM for the first time (Didn't go to prerelease), and was absolutely floored by Goddric. I had a clean run, didn't drop a game, and Goddric was a big part of that. So was Kellan to be fair, but Kellan just scared people; Goddric was the one killing 'em. Like, he reads...

Now we have a few (good) Charming creatures, what with Charming Prince, "Charming" Channeler, "Charming" Bloodmage and Charming Scoundrel, wondering what's on the wishlist for a green CMC2 or 3 creature with "ETB: Charm". Like yeah, we have Gala Greeters, Sentinel of Lost Lore and Tranquil...

I play Human Tribal and looking to depower it a little (Champion goes too hard). Plus I run too many 4's as it is :p I guarantee it'll rock up in someone's folder at my FLGS, I'll promptly forget these things and get it anyway, all so it can sit in the "Find room for this" section of my cube box...

So I've been looking for ways to feed Lich Knight's Conquest efficiently when I realized how good The Witch's Vanity is for bargain in general. I already run Sarcomancy which I guess could go in the deck, Raven Man seems synergistic, and am testing Call the Bloodline again. Anyone else testing...

I have both of these competing impulses. I use these (and others like them) in packs to avoid memory issues or information leaking during the draft, with the actual DFC sitting with my tokens for deck construction. Some of my players just prefer to use the stand-in with a marker to represent...

Thousand-Faced Shadow is definitely cooler. Makes me want to live the dream with Runo Stromkirk and... Mirror-Style Master and Flamerush Rider? You know, utterly unplayable jank. In all seriousness though, Sailor is probably better unless you can play the Shadow early and get that famous flying...

Yeah they got rid of that, it bothers me too. I used to name the decks so I could go back and look at them, or create example decks for each archetype, it was a super useful feature. I think there's some backend/database reason for it, a while ago the site slowed down a ton and they made a...

Seek the Beast is an Instant with "Until your next end step", so unless you're main-phasing it to hit a land drop you'd otherwise miss it's a straight upgrade. You cast it at the end of their turn to have access to the cards in your own, so yeah it's still a t2 play. I'd definitely make the swap...
