If the rocks could hit players this would be really cool, but as is, this card is really bad. It's such a cool design, but they just couldn't make the rocks good enough, could they...

Apparently, the rocks CAN hit players. I think the original translation may have been incorrect.

I still think this card is bad, though.

Well it has partner which means it should be below par because you get +1 card advantage when you use this as your commander over most other legal legendary cards.

I have found it to be very fun and funny to play with as a commander in my commander cube.

It's a card that I for some strange reason originally dismissed, but now I'm cubing it. Equipment/Artifacts, Landfall, Goblin tribal ... almost all my red decks want this. And so do I.











You could also say "Einfach Toggo!"

"I throw a rock at you/X creature" is also just an incredibly satisfying phrase for me. The artifact synergies are a big, big plus. Not many cards actually generate artifact tokens as efficiently.

I don't think the partner mechanic affects the costing of Commander cards as much since they are aimed exclusively at that format where usual mana curve considerations etc don't apply

yeah you can cost commander nonsense however you want, it’s a format where people (such as myself) use Sol Ring and Mana Crypt to power out Enduring Ideal and Form of the Dragon
