I think Fog Bank is a perfectly valid card to run. Keep it up Tom, looks like a fun deck to play.

That actually really helps me understand why Maze of Ith is considered oppressive. I mean, it's just a Minister of Impediments, or a Fog Bank. The key, I think, is it secretly has hexproof. That and costing zero.

you know the funny thing about designing cards is that sometimes a card goes completely unnoticed for a bit. then someone says "wtf is this" and I read it and I think: "Did I really design this? Did I really okay this? Did the other designer just look at it and think it is okay too?".

i wonder if this is how whoever designed cards like deathrite shaman or jtms felt. this card is probably getting cut
in other news, control sucks. all the card draw in the world isn't worth shit if you are just drawing partial answers and more card draw. scroll rack especially sucked.

Ith, High Arcanist looks like fun, especially when considering I'm not up to creatureless control in cube.
I think I'll add Fog Bank and Wall of Denial again because defensive decks need some more love after aggro decks being buffed in my cube (nerfing them again would lead to incosistency).

I think he only ever cast it twice, and once was to giant growth his chimera over a few tokens for the last couple points, so not really?

Do you have Lorescale Coatl in your cube?? Casting Brainstorm mid combat to be a Giant Growth on top of everything else is pretty sick.

. It's happened several times in my peasant cube. It's a real delight. Turn 3 that guy EOT turn 4 flash in Horizon Chimera attack Brainstorm. All of the value.
I run 3 Brainstorms, I'm going to test the Coatl.

most definitely on the first two. i cut spear because i felt such a powerful effect should come at sorcery speed and have an original printing in portal (note: i nearly typed "portland" here) and also be popular among the hockey-and-poutine crowd
