I'm not too excited about the new red 1-drop. I thought we actually already had enough good ones, I think I would play more Stromkirk Nobles before addng this.
I'm of two minds about it myself, but I've got Firedrinker Satyr still stinking up as a " deck agnostic aggro dude" and dash implications are more interesting then expensive reach, so he's got a decent shot. I guess I could go up to 4 cacklers, but that's pushing it. I'm actually still pretty interested in the firebreather too and think both are probably going to be in, particularly if I can find a card or two more that can use the dash mechanic (Champion of Lambholt might get another shot).

Cheap megamorph cost? Two respectable abilities???

I wonder if along with negate guy, this is a sign of a 2-mana megamorph rare cycle.

Yeah, that's definitely a cool card. Human Warrior, useful evasion, regrowth on a body that you don't need to worry about blink abuse, I like it.

Dragon Assault
Sorcery
Target any number of creatures. For each creature destroyed this way, its controller gets a 4/4 flying dragon token.

Sarkhan the Mad's -2 ? Odd that it destroys and gives a token regardless if the creature died or not.

For the record on Zurgo, DID I NOT PREVIOUSLY MENTION AN OBVIOUS BUFF IN THE POWER LEVEL OF CREATURES IN THIS SPECIFIC SET? I told you all, but shoot, you didn't believe me! Why didn't you believe me?

Also, I love BOTH 3-drop warriors. The black & white one. Sweet cards.

On turn 10 I'm gonna ojutai command my snapcaster into play and then tap the rest of my 8 mana to reuse my cryptic command to bounce my snapcaster lol.

I probably will have already won by that point though hahaha

I do wonder how they arrived at these megamorph costs. In Khans they made sure no morph could kill a 2/2 before you reached 5 mana, to prevent the blowout feeling of Onslaught morphs. Oooh... Wait... These still die to a 2-powered creature of course. Man, it's weird how these feel so much better than any morph.

As captain of the stratus dancer hype train, I feel I should weigh in on den protector

He's...different. Unlike blue mistral charger, wandering wolf is not a base body I'm excited about, so megamorph will have to be part of the selling point for this card.
However, as a 5 drop he's not bad, kinda this weird reverse shriekmaw. Don't get me wrong, the evasion is worse, regrowth is worse than terror, and not having evoke are all real downsides, but shriekmaw is the nuts.

Opposing Tokens make it better (But not much), Bonesplitter makes it better, but if Dryad Sophisticate didn't work...
Call me cautiously optimistic. Not a clue in the world what I should cut for him though

I like all the morphidables I've seen so far. The thing is, the only morph I run now is Rattleclaw Mystic, which makes the ability much less interesting. Den Protector looks good, the blue one looks good, so I'm starting to get set up to have more of an interesting guessing game with green and blue morphs.

Black one just got way worse because I can read :(

silumgarassassin.jpg

Its > power, not >= power, so random 2/1 dorks can block him. This in my eyes basically gets rid of this card having evasion :(

At least its megamorph ability makes a little more sense. "Kill something that can block me, then run between the fatties' legs"

I find 'melting' deaths revolting so I'll stick with the old art I think

Yeah regrowths are waaaaay better on CITP than on unmorph. It kinda loses a lot of it's trick potential but I am still pretty optimistic. It's really rare that card is gonna trade down in combat given how few 2 power 1 drops block.

Risen Executioner seems like it has a really good rate. It makes for a pretty substantial clock and it's often gonna be trading with s 3-5 cc creature or a reasonable removal spell. It's too bad it can't block but if you are running a lot of black cards that can't block you should probably be running pretty strong removal (HINT HINT).

If anticipate were any better delve would like it too much lol.

I imagine new silumgar is going to be making it into a lot of cubes, he's pretty fair if your removal is decent, actually he's pretty bad really, but if your removal is shite he goes a long way to make UB tapout an archetype. Pacify this you scum.

I'm actually more excited that red gets to kill siege rhino and friends than any of these other cards. I have no idea how to evaluate shorecrasher elemental. Seems good?

I don't understand? It tucks the extra cards, not bins them.

I'm going to jam him- I like having a big splashy finisher / curve-topper in each color pair, and UB's have been either way off, too weak, or too oppressive.

Atarka is so fucking sexy I'm like wow...

But, for the record:

1) 7 mana 8/8? Called it.

2) Dat ability tho....

3) Art is fantastic imo [but I love the antler dragons]

4) Is this good enough? It certainly FEELS it....someone tell me it's good enough!

Yeah eric weren't you asking for a cheaper bogarden helkite without flash? Would +3/+3 and trample for being green be acceptable? :D

Card is super sweet.
Edit: Yeah he doesn't hit players whatever
