Shoreguy seems kinda shit because it lacks both evasion and combat damage on the stack to make it's ability super relevant in even situations. It does essentially turn on thassa though.

Fuck Gruul Plague Wind kicks ass! I cannot wait to start making GR control decks again, reds removal continues to be the best in most riptide cubes and green value guys keep you in the black with your lifetotal for so long. Now I just need to convince people to start cubing Tusker and Harmonize more often.

I'm already having dreams of Breath of Dirigaaz Lightning Bolt Eternal Witness Thragtusk Outpost Siege Chandra Pyromaster Sakura-tribe elder and Atarka

I've been thinking about Tusker a lot recently too, I think that card might be ready to launch in those grindy red/green decks. I'm still not sold on harmonize, something like a three mana Seek the Horizon would be greener, but maybe too good? I mean probably not, because, you know, treasure cruise

Right now the big thing I'm looking for is a viable Black lifegain card or two. The Warrior-Drain dude is cool, but a pretty unreliable source of life. Maybe a custom 3 damage/life Pharika's Cure would be a good place to start, its certainly not over the line (its just a worse lightning helix). A decent lifelink dude would be good too, like a buffed markov patrician or child of night.

Self-sac deck planeswalker? Sac it and then return it into play! erh. I think it's cool at least, dunno what the flip haters will say.

OMFG I love that new Liliana. Gimme gimme gimme. It's too bad she says 'another creature' for the self sacrifice deck, but I guess it would be a flavor fail otherwise.

I mean, he certainly fits into the Gruul Wildfire deck I'm trying, so!

It's a little weird how similar he is to the green {5}{G}{G} fight dragon, though, given that they're in the same set. I realize that this guy offers dividable burn, and that he also has trample and two more points of power, but aside from that they kill a very similar swath of creatures on arrival. When two cards are roughly within range of one another, I tend to favour the mono-coloured card for being able to slide into a few more cube decks than the guild card.

Though this RG dragon is just enough more powerful, that I might reconsider my usual stance.

The mono green dragon is poopy by comparison, I hope you realize.
Probably poopy in general, but greens top end is really shallow if you dont run 8s

probably going to add morph. blistering firecat or jeering instigator or ashcloud phoenix ? leaning towards jeering instigator for utility. maybe two of them if the red megamorph doesnt cut it

I think I have room to push in a WW card that is sweet like that. No one really like that pushed ghostbalde eidolon anyway.
