Riptide Lab threads are like Gravecrawlers. You can try to kill them, and they then sit in the graveyard for a while. But they never actually die.
Obviously the Doomed Necromancer. He's got "Necro" right in the card name, and he can do it any time he wants instead of only during the upkeep! Also, he's cheaper!I have a fight that needs adjudicating:

Which is better at reviving threads(/threats)?

Given that I don't want to run both because of reasons, which one should I run?
Not something I'ld go for right now (though my proxied duals are very good for gameplay), but that is very cool!i run mana tithe / force spike as a split card with fuse

These guys can't reanimate themselves though
A comment from anotak in the Skype thread got me to thinking:
Personally, I LOVE Unexpectedly Absent. It's what I would consider a near-perfect design for what white removal SHOULD look like. The ability to it most things, but not deal with any single thing permanently. Celestial Flare's alright, but if I have to choose, I'm always going with Unexpectedly Absent. Surprised the card doesn't see more play in Legacy.
i like this discussion but shouldn't it be its own thread?
