General Fight Club

Prosperous Thief is fine (possibly attacking with a 3/2 T2 that ramps you is a great payoff for sacrificing some tempo and well worth the risk in many cases) and Thousand-Faced Shadow is actively good, but Moonsnare Specialist is not great. The body is just too anemic, and a 2/2 for 3 is arguably worse than Man-o-War's 1/3.
(Edit: man-o-war is a 2/2??? I've Berenstain Bear'd myself!)

Yeah, I'd just stick with

Paying {2} more for +1/+1 is... yeah. I like the other two, though!
I would point out that Moonsnare Specialist having an etb instead of a damage trigger matters here. If you have the mana to spare you could for example ninjutsu multiple times before damage (Bouncing the blocker that would kill your other creature fir example). The Specialist does provide more options for cute interactions imo.

Yeah, I will probably go for the Shadow. As Ondeer pointed out, it kinda fulfills two roles for the ninjutsu tempo decks. If I had more space (blue is really tight) I could also see the Thief for some overlap with artifacts.

ravnic's cube is probably slow enough to run Separatist Voidmage.

Nah, I don't think so. Man-o'-War sees play without being incredible. It's just where I want to be power level wise. Moonsnare Specialist at least needed a ninjutsu cost of {1}{U}. As it is, Mistblade Shinobi is overall the better card for me. It's cheap ninjutsu cost also makes it better in rebuying etb triggers. Attack with Marsh Flitter turn five, ninjutsu, bounce your 4-drop, recast the Faerie is a much more realistic scenario than activating multiple (expensive) ninjutsu abilities in one combat.

Also kudos to @LadyMapi for theoretically breaking Covert Technician in my cube :D

If you have the mana to spare

I mean, the minimum cost to do tricks with it would be {2}{U}{U} (evasive attacker → ninj in Moon-Circuit Hacker for the saboteur trigger → ninj in Moonsnare Specialist to bounce something), and that uses up a lot of mana that most Ninja-y decks I can think of would prefer to spend on redeploying their evasive creatures or holding up interaction.

...

Also, as a side note, I think this might be the funniest Alchemy rebalance I've seen:

Just sharpie out all of the 3s — easy!

Looking for a finisher for slower White decks that doesn’t have to rot in hand and can be useful early. Debating between these two

I am open to other suggestions too if you have something interesting!

I would take Cave. My reason though, is that I dislike dfcs in draft. If you don't mind them, I could see arguments for Call. Although I think being able to play early AND late is quite clutch here too.

btw I think this is the thread specifically for card suggestions? idk i'm new here though lol

Anyway, idk if these are exactly finishers but when looking for cards that work early and late I tend to go for adventure cards, in this case something like these
