I'll just vouch for my pet card
Being a sorcery speed blue one with nothing is tough so he also does a great trial of knowledge impression. But is constantly criticized "it's not the same bro!" One day maybe he'll realize just to be himself. Even just a 5 mana "draw four cards, then choose four cards and discard the rest" is great.

Looking for some exciting, high-impact, ideally red instants/sorceries to recur with these. Bonus points if they work with Dreadhorde Arcanist too

If we want to go above 3 mana the list balloons, since Finale of Promise can grab spells of any size, theoretically. A couple easy examples that come to mind are stoke the flames and wildfire

Doesn't Wonder make games one-dimensional by giving the whole team unblockeable? Or am I wrong?

Mill your entire library and take infinite turns to close the game out. I normally would be opposed to infinite turns in cube, but the combination of difficulty of setup and the expense of Nexus makes it less obnoxious in my experience
