General "Looking for a card"-Thread

Okay guys, during WAR limited I had this incredibly fun deck where I combined my four or even five Charity Extractors with Huatli, the Sun's Heart. I love it when two mediocre cards combine to something really good. So, what I am looking for today is sweet limited combos, where two (retail level) cards work extremely well together - without the synergy being too obvious (like named/tribal synergies). I used to have a deck that ran the following "combo":



Since Minamo can target itself, it basically gains: "{U}, {T}: Untap Minamo, School at Water's Edge. Target creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn." If that isn't obscure, retail-level synergy, I don't know what is ;)
 
I don't think Morphling has been good or even average since 2009 when M10 was introduced.
But in retail limited having a flier that can gain shroud, pump itself, and untap itself just wins games without support. You don't need to combine that card with Fire Whip (or any other cute combo piece for that matter) in order to make it better than mediocre.

Like yeah Morphling might be crap in a constructed context these days, but that's not what we're talking about here. If Morphling were in a modern retail limited set, it would probably still be a bomb card.
