The flavor, at least how I read it, is that the vampires go raiding so that they can supply humans for the wedding feast, which I believe is an important tradition (guests bringing blood munchies, or blunchies for short. It's a Stromkirk expression.) to big social events. It works out a little strangely when it transforms, of course, but don't so many cards wind up being a bit odd when they interact?

It is but I hate it. This would have been so much more elegant as an actual split card...
there are more [words] than words. It's a real pain to read.
This is an ugly card. I like the idea of cleave, but if there's more of this nonsense, no thank you. The corner case of them paying for your counter and you drawing is so distracting as to make me never want to run this card no matter how good it may be. Archmage's Charm is more my speed even if it has a bit lower of a ceiling, thanks.
