Agreed. I sometimes say my opponent even when gender is known. Though I also slip into saying "he" or "that guy" when I don't know the gender, so I'm not at all consistent with my gender messaging.

I thought this thread was going to be about a cube that was like 50% artifacts. I am disapppointed. I'm also fairly pessimistic about a cube that just ignores the color of cards. It seems impossible to make it not just devolve into a good-stuff format.

Agree. Potentially abusable in constructed (though the basic clause hurts a lot), almost never worth a card in limited unless you can show me a cube entirely warped around this somehow.

I think that underscores our difference of opinion. I don't find land destruction "interesting." I would probably find it interesting if it only ever hit cards like Celestial Colonnade instead of things like duals. It's because I don't want good land destruction in that I cut too-good lands...
