The entire game design is checks and balances though; sure you can doomsday as corp, but you're a handful of credits from losing immediately to noiseshop, if they figure that's what you're doing. I found a sample deck; seems like Jackson Howard is, predictably, the problem card.

Well I suspect it's mostly to do with making sure RtR's token themes manageable, but yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if part of the unbanning reasoning was 'look at all the hate from the last 3 years that murderises faerie tokens'.

I mean, this is basically every custom card. If someone presented me this idea, I'd probably shoot it down for logistical reasons the creator might not have thought of; if Wizards print it, I assume they've put literally hundreds of man-hours into making sure those reasons don't exist.

Does this count as a land drop if you bestow it? If not, it's a free land drop waiting to be abused. I don't know what that abuse will look like, but it'll happen. I mean, I guess you could set your cube up so that it wouldn't, but it rubs me all the wrong ways.

Any card with the phrase 'search your library' is banned, unless the target is restricted to one or more basic lands, or otherwise in this (very short) list of exceptions: blah.
