    Card/Deck The Golgari Swarm (BG)

All that aside, you already have the Nyx Weaver, which is a great signal into a self-mill GB strategy besides being a decent card in it's own right. I also don't think Grave-shell Scarab is that good, but I guess if your power level allows it is passable. If GB is truly a dredge/self-mill...

    General Fight Club

Bygone Bishop is very good, and definitely a good choice for this slot. Not having to pay up front is very strong, giving you the opportunity to continue utilizing all your mana, with the card advantage sitting and waiting for an opening. Also a much better body on it's own.

General Gold aggro and rethinking colour roles

doubling the toughness improves survivability by a surprisingly wide margin, and again, my favorite thing is how clean of a signal it is. It's not just an increase in toughness, it's a signpost.

General Gold aggro and rethinking colour roles

honored crop-captain This is by far my favorite gold agro piece right now. It's a perfect signal into the RW decks strategy, and it does it in a clean and efficient manner. Love it.

    Card/Deck The Golgari Swarm (BG)

Putrid Leech seems like a pretty boring Golgari card these days. Like I guess it can "synergize" with some sort of lifegain subtheme in GB, but it's this semi-vanilla beater tossed in among a rich and deep color combo. I like much more: lotleth troll in the role of low-drop golgari beater, and...

    General "Looking for a card"-Thread

Yes you can use the Vizier after attackers/blockers are declared, before damage. You can use it as a neat Flickerwisp/resto mashup for sure :)

Not exactly fixing any problem with evasion, but this card is great for White + Blocking, and great card advantage for white in general: trueheart duelist

Sanitarium skeleton seems wicked slow. Squee is probably all any format would need for a "synergy with discard thing" Anyways, my thought right now is to take both Safra's and inscho's suggestions and do a little double switheroo: OUT griselbrand Scourge of nel toth IN razaketh, the...

    Sigh, a Cube

Some Mana Base Ponderings... So I find myself the passenger on a several hour trip, and it's given me some time for some ponderin'. Specifically about mana, mana bases, and cycles. Focus of my interest is: Izzet boilerworks And associates. My main interest in bouncelands is there application in...

    Raveborn Tinkerings: a bounceland format

I think this is how I'm going to try it (scaled to four), cuz giving everyone that chance to see how the picks are going is nice, and it's no extra effort: just have the next picker random burn then pick like you say.

    Low-Power Cube for Six

I think I'm going to try this 5x15 method, RBM. I usually play with 4, and it scales perfectly at 75% to my 400 card size. Sweet! How do you do the burning? I was thinking just toss the last 6 for ease of execution.

    Card/Deck The Orzhov Syndicate (WB)

Especially with Izzet as one of your pairs, I think Kambal will be a very solid addition. Nice little bit of counterplay in the format.

Mono-demon reanimator. I can see it now :P. Yeah probably don't need Razaketh, though he is lurking in the shadows if Grizz gets the axe. For some reason I've always shied away from both of those cards? I dunno. I could see trying overseer but with eyes open to it running away with games...

    General The Draft Exchange

Drafted this neat little brew from ravnic's cube. I think a cute little game plan revolving mostly around killing the opponent's small creatures, and stealing their big ones. Subtitle is: "Don't let me hit 5 mana". Signet are really strong, and packing three in this deck seems really nice. Could...

    General "Looking for a card"-Thread

Alright I'll give this a whirl. I'm looking to boot this guy for severe underperformance and also bounce :/. scourge of nel toth I'm thinking maybe another fatty 6-8 drop to support reanimator, or a new card to support sacrifice synergies?

    Card/Deck The Orzhov Syndicate (WB)

So back to multi-color WB cards, my favorite can of soup right now is: kambal, consul of allocation He's like the hate bear lord, leading you into the color pair, and bringing a stellar hate bear effect to the table. Even comes with a decent bod. A+ orzhov card, not likely to remove soon.

    General Fight Club

#Mood Probably the reason I won't re-include a "fair" Force of Will. I just like using the mana system, you know? Probably going ahead with a test run of Censor. I like the thought of it pulling double duty as toned-down blue Cantrip. I have precedent for this with Curator of Mysteries, and...

    Low-Power Cube for Six

Q2: the eidolon you took out is probably quite a bit more useful to the format than Umbra Mystic. If you want that "removal protection" aspect, Griffin Guide is good. Q3: aether vial is a trap in cube. In competetive it's almost always a 4-of and the deck is entirely built around its usage...

    Card/Deck The Orzhov Syndicate (WB)

I think there is more of it in cube than we think, but we may not consciously design to color pairs as much as MaRo might during Return to Return to Ravnica. But like, any card we include for the reason of being in deck [x] is effectively selected to max value for that color pair. Grillo made...
