With all these new and awesome morph dudes I'm seriously considering adding morphs to my 450. Some of these affects are pretty damn powerful.

I think the typical over/under for "playable cards" in the end of set card dump is about 2.5.

I'm taking over here, this set is nuts and I think a gem with Rebound and a random as fuck black aggro dude are going to be in the pile along with something completely random.

Wait, are you saying that there have been some sets recently with fewer than three cubeable cards? That can't be right. As much as I bag on Gatecrash, CubeTutor says I'm still running ten cards from it.

I think it's a nice flavorful touch actually. The clans and khans are no more, there's no wedges, and the clans don't ally with their enemy colors. I like it.

As for the cards themselves. Meh. Color hosers always feel a bit cheap. Though... the time I played a Karma deck in peasant with nonbasic black sources and a slew of Evil Presence effects.

YOUR LAND IS A SWAMP NOW WHY DO YOU PLAY SWAMPS YOU SILLY HERE HAVE A KARMA!

And it won matches! Awesome :)

Rending Volley is actually super strong for the formats where you'd want a sideboard card like that (Modern)
I understand that the oops sideboard cards like lifebane zombie are harder to make, but players seem to love them more

Such a cool design. But why Wizards, why the sacrifice clause! Such a let-down :(

Oh, but I run customs, don't I? :D

Edit: The rebound cards suck for the most part. It's like they took the cool rebound cards, and added three mana for an effect worth only one or two mana.

Yeah, the rebound cards are awful. Actually most of the keyworded cards are overcosted. But there are some tools here for a lot of different lists, especially +1/+1 counters, and a couple of the exploit cards do a decent enough job of being a spell that puts a body in the graveyard.

These cards totally don't suck for the counters deck. Inspiring Call is a blowout and a half when it works I don't think its as narrow as it looks. There are a couple of weaker cards in theme too if you are digging for narrow playables.

Secure the wastes is the real deal, that effect has never been so efficient.

Pretty strong incidental tribal card.

Nice long game enchantment, is this something we want to use our graveyard for?

Festering Goblin that doesn't fuck you over, yeah!

Generally positive. Its not as potentially stupid as, say, ethereal armor, but your dude in the first time and makes him obnoxious to kill the second.
