So...a new mythic and an interesting Red common got spoiled today...
I like the red guy. That reminder text seems to be in a weird spot, but I can totally get behind casting my 5 drop with haste on turn 3.

If it does, do you want narrow comparatively expensive junk like this in it?
Red guy is likely good, but I kinda don't want to encourage my drafters to play midrange when thats all they want to do anyways. Also I imagine the first time someone goes Elf > Him > Inferno Titan on t3 is going to cause a flipped table or two

This thing looks quite powerful in ritual storm combo decks though. Also in normal decks, on average, this will act as an Untamed Wilds that can't ramp you (because it counts as your land drop for the turn) and that occasionally nets you an extra card.

I thought about Pestilence too, but that actually doesn't work very well.
I love the name, the design, the everything. I'd just go ahead and say this is my favorite core set yet, but they went and did two things wrong. They failed to give me the interesting 5 mana dragon that isn't overpowered that I've been waiting for...and they printed resolute archangel...my LEAST favorite creature type in my least favorite color hosing my absolute favorite color in the WORST way...
...why they gotta do this to a playa?
