I think humans is one of those things you support in a completely serendipitous fashion. If you want more support, you can go to deranged outcast, but I think running the big three and then letting it sort itself out is the best approach to humans. They are just too diverse to really do something particular with.

Champion of the Parish over Savannah Lions is the right call, and almost a strict upgrade overall. If your cube is anything like most cubes on here, that change should work out fine. The only other marginal human support card is Gather the Townsfolk, as a weaker token generator that should make its way around the table for the dedicated tribal drafter.

Here, not only have we tried green and black humans, someone has won the draft with it.

Yeah, no reason to "push" a humans theme. If you want to, you can add in a second Champ or X-Man or cards like Gather the Townsfolk

(it only has fuse because every split card has fuse in my cube just for the sake of memory issues nobody is expected to fuse this)

I added Deranged Outcast, but from running a few drafts on cubetutor I really don't have my hopes up with that card. We'll see!
I've said it many times, but I love Champion of the Parish. It's the best white 1-drop I've ever had in the cube. I'm up to 3 of them now.
Genesis Wave is a hell yeah! It's not even that good but with a little effort to make the right deck, it certainly is very fun!

Deranged Outcast is kinda cool, I'm not sure I'd run it but this may just be constructed bias because mana-intensive is the kiss of death there and like here who knows, it could just be really good

Maybe it requires higher concentrations of humans than Champ Mayor Xman by dint of being a worse card, though

I know it's expensive, but I quite like it. Do you think it could you be a fun/interesting control build around card, supported with things like icy manipulator and staff of nin?

I don't like it. In control you want to be killing their things as early as possible, and by the time you can land 7-drop it should be killing them. On the other hand, I would totally love a slow cube where turn 7 is mid game and this kind of thing can work.

I haven't tested Thassa extensively but I have found it good in many different decks, not just aggressive ones. Scry is very good and the unblockable ability has a lot of solid targets - plus this card is almost impossible to remove so it represents guaranteed value that only gets better as the game progresses.

In short, I don't play it for the creature clause. Devotion is hard to reach and I don't think that is what makes Thassa good. This card is better in control decks IMO. If you are pushing blue aggro, I think you can drop this card. But my blue section is still mostly control oriented, so it's a welcome addition for me.

I have almost never played it myself. People seem to like it I guess, it usually gets played. But it's so clunky. I used to love love love Tidings but that was getting too slow :C. It's probably time to put something else in for Harmonize.

Edit: Just swapped it out for Gideon's Lawkeeper. Stuff needed balancing.
