Though two of these play very nicely with Dark Prophecy

Fecundity draws the owner of a dying creature a card. While more limited in the cards per turn department, Deathreap Ritual is asymmetrical. It's also four mana though, and it has some pretty stiff competition from other Golgari cards for the few gold slots in its guild.

Right. My assumption is that you would want to play Deathreap Ritual in a sacrifice deck, in which case Fecundity is almost definitely better, even if your opponent does occasionally draw a card.

Love Yawgmoth's Bargain.

Yeah, in that role I would definitely prefer Fecundity. It's in my cube whereas I don't think I can or want to make room for Deahtreap Ritual. If anyone is going to play it though, I'ld love to hear how it performs!

I've never seen it in play in the (very) short time it was in my cube. At six mana it was a prime target for pruning when I discovered the importance of keeping your mana curve lower than your average commander deck. It's still on the bench, so I will probably try it again sometime.

i think it'd be pretty playable at but you're right its way too hard to use as is

I love 'em but unless you have both an artifact theme and a sacrifice theme, ideally overlap ... these seem like great candidates for lower-power-level cubes

I've been testing it out and it was ok with Young Pyromancer, Quirion Dryad and such. If you play a lot of the spells-matter cards then it's fine I guess.

I love that card but ultimately cut it from my cube in an effort to bring the average cmc down. Bonus points if you run Swarmyard though

Seems like a card without a home. In theory it'd be cool in a sacrifice deck, but those decks have no interest in 6-drops.

So far it just wheeled to oblivion. I'd hate to cut a card without anyone taking the plunge, but if no one has any interest in it, might as well cut it even if it is user error.

I've been considering running it in my new cube. It has a lot of utility as a graveyard enabler, mill piece, and draw fixer. I am not sure how many other cubes really want that sort of effect though.

Rotates in and out of my cube. There are enough ways to get more value out of visionary that I never really mind having it around.
