    General Why not?

110% agree. I'm much more comfortable running 17 lands in low-curve aggro decks if I know I can count on Treetop Village, Mutavault, and Gavony Township to swing the tide of the game when I'm otherwise out of gas.

Or are currently studying software, or are in the software / IT industry but not programming. Educated guesses are more than fine!

The Dandy Cube (Chris Taylor's Cube)

Don't worry. Lucas tells me to double up on Remand twice a week, and I ignore him.

    Card/Deck Black Sheep

Maybe Hands of Binding is more up my alley, then. It does a better job locking down blockers, which is probably something that more decks here can make use of.

    General Why not?

I would say that 23/17 is a pretty common starting point for brand new Limited formats, before people learn the boundaries of the format and discover its archetypes. When new players come to draft with us, and ask for recommendations on how many lands versus spells to play, people also usually...

    Card/Deck Black Sheep

Would this card be any good, even without a heroic theme? I'm looking for more ways to support the likes of Young Pyromancer and Guttersnipe, without requiring decks to cram in the spell density that the same archetypes in Constructed typically would have.

    Card/Deck Blue Aggro/Tempo/Non-Control: the sequel

Phantasmal Bear This guy can totally attack. For two! No joke! He clocked me for about ten damage in one game today. Coralhelm Commander If you run Thassa, there's a good argument for including this merfolk. Tandem Lookout Don't laugh - he totally draws you some cards, much the same...

    General The Skype Thread

Holy.. holy crap. I might finally have to acknowledge that Chris Taylor is a real person, as opposed to a sentient online bot that spits out custom cards every three days.

    General Fixing the Die Roll

We actually roll two D6s and add up the sum. I bring a pile of six-siders because they're more handy than larger dice for +1/+1 counters and such. The few D20s I have are usually snapped up for use as life counters. And hey, even MTGO uses D6s - not that they should be seen as the gold...

I have nineteen cards I want to run and/or test. Not exaggerating. With the disclaimer that I haven't tried any of the cards yet, it feels like this is the best small set for cube in a long, long time.
