Ah, but then what happens when you draw that Mutavault you picked up in the funsies draft?
Urborg is already really good, isn't it?
Exactly. I love Urborg. Coffers just isn't going in any direction I'm interested in even though I LOVE Gray Merchant of Asphodel.Ah, but then what happens when you draw that Mutavault you picked up in the funsies draft?

I really wish he had 2 power. Also seems fairly likely he'll get burnt with your burn spell on the stack. Overall I'm thinking cube may not have enough burn but I guess it depends.Am I crazy for thinking this guy might be decent?
Hmm... this may actually be a cubeable card. Paint me a deck that wants it. This + Anthem is like, GG, right?
I just don't think Coffers offers enough upside. There's nothing that rewards you all that much for having an above average amount of black mana at your disposal
Urborg is great in multicolor aggro because you have sinks for black mana. e.g.
Not to mention it requires you to have 5 pieces to even do all that and I haven't even seen another situation where it provides much. Like you can play a Grave Titan 1 turn earlier with Coffers provided you don't need to play any land other than a swampOkay, Real Talk time. So, yeah, sometimes you have two Gravecrawlers and some sac outlet and you're jizzing zombies all over the table with all the black mana you can find, but that usually isn't the game state. And if it is you tend to be winning. Urborg is great because you dedicate zero slots to it and it fixes for your Messengers and what not, but.. if you have enough pieces that you're in "use my mana to play Gravecrawler 5 times this turn" then you're usually ahead anyways.

I would much rather have this
