Glad to see you drop by here Waddski. Let us coordinate in a couple months
i'm surprised dig didn't get restricted too if cruise did
dig was just better in everything non aggressive as far as i can tell? UU is a lot easier in vintage than in legacyTC is easy to use in a wider variety of decks, and was also in the deck rising to dominance (delver) so it was an easier call for them to make.
without TC around people will start to turn to DTT as an alternative and find it just as powerful and nearly as easy to cast.
mostly yeah, except mana cost because...dig was just better in everything non aggressive as far as i can tell?

i would argue the exact opposite. every mana counts in vintage.
been testing a little and it already annoys me sometimes not having that second blue to cast spell pierce to protect

I like how you differentiate between skill and personalityaround here it is universally acknowledged that marshall is a bland and dull fool, a grossly incompetent player and commentator who only got his sweet gig from the only way to make a living from magic (viz. corporate cocksucking), and a nice person.
tell me what the combo is baby
It's based around Temur Sabertooth. You use it to bounce creatures like Karametra's Acolyte and other untap guys to generate a ton of devotion mana (4x Nykthos in here as well) with Temur Ascendancy out or make huge copies of Genesis Hydra to just beat down. I think it uses Nylea, God of the Hunt and Nissa Worldwaker as other ways to win. Plays 3x Coursers and Eidolons for dat card draw. It was one camera at SCG DC, looked pretty awesome. He never actually comboed out for the win, but he just made a ton of mana and beat the crap out of the other guy. Even after an Ugin -X from the opponent to wipe his board. It was pretty awesome.
