    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Basically what Dom said. The mana cost in addition to the discarding kills it for me. Speaking of "lower powered" recursion in blue, I'm slowly realizing that this little gem is actually not nearly as much of a whiff as I thought (and yes I know other people might have realized this beforehand...

    Sigh, a Cube

So I have an absolutely ludicrous amount of data, drafts, posts, and whatnot to sort through. Gotta start somewhere, so I'll start off with the 5-man draft I had yesterday. Would have wanted a 6th, or even seventh, but I can't stop people from bailing. Had a great time with the drafting, decided...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I might. Definitely a little wary because of how the piles are made/chosen, but still might be cool. RE: flash of insight. You guys do realize it's reverse think twice, as long as you play >1 U spell, with a way higher BCS, right? As in, 3 mana front end, 2 mana back end, but can also dump more in.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

how could I forget about deep analysis!? That might be a good choice... potentially instead of Treasure Cruise, filling the same role.

    Sigh, a Cube

Thank you for the drafts! Lots of good thoughts put out there. I'm working to reverse some interesting power creep issues that have sprung up for some reason or another. Pack Rat specifically is on the chopping block, but I can see arguments for other cards beyond that, of course. My plan for...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Player expectations are playing a large role, tbh. Your own talk over on my thread on being unilaterally lead into U by something like Frost Titan is basically what I'm talking about. This paired with the push to drive control into other colors. Why try non-U control/grind/whatever when you can...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

So my card draw is too good, but I wanna emulate Dig through Time, if I am taking it out. How about: flash of insight? It forces quite a bit more investment, but can still get two cards like dig, and is significantly more toned down. Right?

    Sigh, a Cube

Yeah, looks are being had. I might be throwing in, like, 5 enemy filters to start. Either going to 410 or at the expense of more utility lands.

    Sigh, a Cube

So many cool drafts after waking up today :D. Feeling very blessed. Drafts of all five colors, of both slow and fast types. Even if the RG control falls through, which it already looks like it wont, at least tangentially, I'm getting a ton of useful infos.some cool stuff: Trying out RG...

Card/Deck Start your Engines: A Temur Card Advantage Deck

Lol @ that pack. It was like a million-o-clock, and I told myself "sigh, you've gotta take out the delve draw" but instead I fell asleep. I think it'll be hard to want to call the deck a true control one, because of green's healthy appreciation of creatures. I'm happy so far just hearing the...

    Sigh, a Cube

Thanks a bunch! This version might be very very ramshackle, in part because I haven't fully thought about ramps role in the cube. Also might need to up my wildfire count.... forgot about that.

Card/Deck Start your Engines: A Temur Card Advantage Deck

my CT has I think all the changes I was hoping to make for this draft of the cube change? Well, most of 'em are there in any case. Played against the Seasons Past control deck today during FNM. Drew out 1-1-1 with it, using my own abzan value version of the deck, but the card is very strong...

    Sigh, a Cube

The Engine Update Finally got around to syncing up my list with the excel sheet I keep on my computer. Big update this time, with the full insertion of the test for the RG control prototype. Other updates include the SOI cards finalization, along with some various swaps I decided on independent...

Yeah I'm tinkering still. I'll be letting you all know when the list is updated, which might be in ~5 hours? I also do like ol' genesis.

Card/Deck Start your Engines: A Temur Card Advantage Deck

haha wow. I can almost feel the negative energy flying off the screen. And the words definitely succeeded in plenty of feel-bad on this end. Bravo. By paragraph order from post 67 up to here, excluding paragraph 1: 2. My blue is probably too strong, so making it worse is something I should...

Card/Deck Start your Engines: A Temur Card Advantage Deck

I'm agreeing with Grillo that exploratory is basically where we want, and it's time to actually put something to the grindstone. Will be trying harmonize. Found on the updated version of that draw spell list: commune with lava Seems pretty sweet as a R draw spell. It's not like GR needs to be...

Card/Deck Start your Engines: A Temur Card Advantage Deck

This is "the gifts ungiven" thread, I guess. But a hiatus was taken to work out the rest of the deck ideas. Aka, make archetypes that work on their own, and then gifts can take it over the top. Rev 1 was a little too "in a vacuum"-y. I'd want harmonize over gifts in a: 1. Deck without U 2...

Card/Deck Start your Engines: A Temur Card Advantage Deck

One important note for everyone to keep in mind, I think: Grillo brought up an excellent point, which is that blues draw package has to be reevaluated in parallel with non-U control being explored. Some particular lines I'm looking at are more U card quality spells, rather than just a package...

http://riptidelab.com/forum/threads/making-gruul-do-more-than-stompy-or-make-stompy-gruul-more-interesting.734/page-11 (Will link later when not on mobile) Found this, which is pretty cool. This discussion has happened! I'm glad to see this is an archetype on the brink. I hope this thread...

Card/Deck Start your Engines: A Temur Card Advantage Deck

I could see reintroducing one of those. I've also been thinking about fall of the titans, which it seems big RG decks can take full advantage of. Also it's in the list Dom posted. I love me some harmonize, and agree that this is probably the place it can shine brightest. I'll be doing a test...
