Oh man Saproling Burst. I fucking love the flavor and the decisions and everything, but I do despair for finding a way to develop it in such a way that it's not busted with Haste and awful without it.
With Fires being an old-school weakish 2-color card, I'm surprised some of the lower-power Cubes on here aren't talking about Urabrask the Hidden

Without haste, it seems pretty close to Precursor Golem, which is still a fine card. Granted, green five-drops are a lot harder to manage than colorless ones, but at least it's not completely unplayable.

I looked at Saproling Burst and dismissed it, then realised the only reason I dismissed it is I'm not good and could never play this card right.
Apparently some sort of detective work with the number on the back of the card unscrambled to this:

So... something for us? I would say being able to doubledraft from a pack is too powerful, but it has enough drawbacks that it might be fair.
I don't really like him on paper but he's one of my most heavily-drafted green cards and he's a real bitch in-game so he stays.
Cogwork Librarian sounds hella cool! When you want to double pick you have to somehow consider how much the Librarian is worth to you by keeping other people from using it. That's probably not too important. I guess what's really important is drafting this sounds like really good fun!

Yeah that's pretty much what I was thinking. Man we're so open minded.
Too bad it is like, totally unusable for something like drafts.in. Otherwise I'd run it on Sunday.
Bannable in EDH, is this thing remotely cubeable? I've run both Woodfall Primus and Terastodon at various points, and this seems like it would fill a similar niche, albeit being one (critical!) mana cheaper.

I've just added sylvan primordial over Woodall primus. I've taken out all the cheat into play effects and figure the one cheaper casting cost is better. I will see how it goes...

+ (Hawk-style)?I have done exactly this before. My players liked it but after informing the newer ones that "no, you can't swap your RWM for an angel," they became a lot less excited. I ran all five because CYCLES and hellkite overlord kicked ass, prince of thralls sucked, and the rest were ok. Angel is just big stupid wall of denial and who likes that card?
People keep hating on Wall of Denial around here. I like it.. It's really good., but I suppose it is completely uninteractive

My friend runs the heralds in his cube, which lets you tutor their card from exile, and they aren't nearly as good as you would think, even in his slow/low powered environment.
Sigh... mentioning wall of denial to a friend made him snap start building a phenax list for modern... what the hell.
Suggested to me, cute little minigame but completely blows that it doesn't exclude lands.

How is one kept honest during a game though? Shouldn't the player casting it have to reveal their hand? Am I missing something?
I mean, this is basically every custom card. If someone presented me this idea, I'd probably shoot it down for logistical reasons the creator might not have thought of; if Wizards print it, I assume they've put literally hundreds of man-hours into making sure those reasons don't exist.
